Portland Bookkeeping Solutions LLC runs portlandbks.com. In short: we only use your information to reply to you and to see which of our marketing works. We never sell it.
What we collect
If you fill out our contact form, book a call, call, or email us, we receive what you share, usually your name, email, phone number, and a short message. Calls are scheduled through Calendly, which receives your name, email, and booking answers.
Like most websites, we use cookies, Google Analytics, and Google Ads conversion tracking. These show us which pages are visited, how visitors found us, device type, approximate city, and whether someone who clicked an ad contacted us. They don't tell us who you are. Our contact form also notes how you found the site (for example, a Google search or ad).
How we use it
To reply to you and schedule calls, to provide bookkeeping services if you become a client, and to improve our website and ads.
Who we share it with
Only the services that help run the business: Google (Analytics and Ads), Formspree (delivers contact form messages), Calendly (scheduling), and our website host. Each follows its own privacy policy. We would otherwise share information only if required by law.
Your choices
- You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings.
- You can opt out of Google Analytics at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
- You can manage Google ad personalization at adssettings.google.com.
- To see, correct, or delete information you've sent us, email adam@portlandbks.com.
Our site does not currently respond to browser "Do Not Track" signals.
Client information
Financial records and account access provided by clients are used only to perform bookkeeping services, are kept confidential, and are covered by our client service agreement.
Storage and security
We keep contact information as long as needed to work with you and for tax and legal records, and take reasonable steps to protect it. No website or email system is completely secure.
Who this website is for
This website is intended for business owners and adults 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Changes
If we update this policy, we'll change the effective date above.
